I'm starting to see a light at the end of the tunnel in terms of the admission process for school. It's been a little arduous but I'll be thankful to have it done.

Oh, also, plot :D

Jack, do not accept :/
Jaunt at least understood his guys because most of them used to be human plus he also needed to learn how humans work. I do not thin there was one instance when Jaunt was unreasonable?
Nyarl is just a bad choice.

I guess Jack can become someone like a natural rival to Irwin/Thigg? Both were doing their jobs, both "died" and both were resurrected by some other power they now "serve" (stronger in Jack's case).
Although for Thiggwin there is little reason to have an interest in Jack?

His fluids are thickening alarmingly too … take the bad deal and remain alive so long as you retain some free will, oh fearsome bat-boy.

This is interesting. If this is really Nyarly in another one of his forms, it would definitely be a "playing multiple sides against each other" situation, which would be totally in-character for him.

After all, Jaunt kinda works for him, too, doesn't he? Why would Nyarly take a resource away from his resource?

Jack's been pretty loyal to Jaunt, though, so I don't think he'd ever want to completely turn on him.

A brooding, caped figure looking down from a high place in the night. A variety of non-human powers. Thigwin is arguably a super. I think he is still on the journey that will make him either a hero or a villain.
Nyarlathotep calls Jack a knight but is suspect that he is still a pawn.

My! Thiggwin doesn't know about the seal and the job that was offered to Clara and Chase. If only Chase could get this info, it would be a tremendous help for making decisions. Is there a trope about "valuable info in the wrong hands"?

The plot thickens, indeed. The tension rises, too.

I have to wonder how cohesive Nyaralthotep’s goals are. Does the entity ever work against itself, or entertain multiple, mutually contradictory and antagonistic goals, across its infinite avatars? It is the crawling CHAOS, after all...

...Also, this is probably not what I’m supposed to take away from this, but I love Irwin’s expression in the closeup. He’s just so hilariously intense and offended-looking. “What is this what is this WHAT IS THIS! That Indian gentleman is stealing my kill! I shall not stand for this!”

If I were to make an either/or observation, it would be to the effect that the different manifestations of Nyarlathotep are chaotic and at cross purposes, or that he/it has doubts about whether Jaunt's efforts will succeed in either the short or long term.

But things in the Mythos are rarely simply black and white. So, I will withhold speculation at this time.

I like the expression on Thiggwin's face in the fourth panel. It conveys much without the need for exposition.
