Is that a touch of The Look I see on the spoooooooky clerk?

Great page!

Thanks - I'm always worried about these dialogue pages. Dialogue is the only thing I'm more insecure about over my art.

I daresay that your dialogue is a damn sight better than HPL's was. Don't worry about it, you're doing fine.

BTW, I gave you a shout-out on Twitter today. Let's get some more eyes on your comic if we can!

That just flat-out isn't true, and you know it =p

But aw, shoot, really? That's awesome of you, thanks! I have like, 19 followers on Twitter, and they never listen to me, haha.

I think they're pity-follows.

The clerk reminds me of Peter Lorre!

That said...he doesn't look like he's doing so well.

Oh god he kinda does - that wasn't intentional. And I don't know what you're talking about - he's doing so well he might just live forever!

Is it bad that I'd literally laugh out loud if he just keeled over randomly?

Gehehe, naw, schadenfreude and all. This guy's not addicted to morphine, I don't think ... I guess I haven't developed the hotel clerk a lot?

all I could think was "Ten bucks!? That's quite a deal." I don't really care that the twenties were fraught with supernatural horrors, life was affordable back then.

Yet another awesome page.

That's a pretty hefty chunk of change, back then! For that price they'd better be getting a suite.

I don't think they're getting a suite. Thank you, though!

Don't know if I'd take a room from a guy that looked like that....great work.

Thank you - wanted to convey a sense of unease for the two silly humans.

I'm with XS here, whatever supernatural terrors are bound to unfold, that price is worth it

I have to check myself frequently when I'm working out the prices for things - it's just amazing to me how much things have inflated in just 100 years, I don't really get economics so it's surprising to no end.

I think I'd be okay with the supernatural if it meant things didn't cost so much, heheh.
