Hurrrrggg. Work on the comic slowed down a lot yesterday because of the FCC's decision, I'm still kind of reeling from it but I'll get what I need to get done, done.

This page! I liked this page a lot, I got to explore a lot of color schemes and stuff which I don't normally get to do. I love 1925 and all but I really love drawing fantasy stuff :D

Have a good weekend everyone!

There always seems to be SOMETHING that's able to stop the "all powerful" gods from doing something to somewhere, and it's always failing or threatened by some person or persons dumb enough to think that they know better than the ones who put it there in the first place. It's a good thing Roy is on OUR side, right? ;)

Nice colors and composition, as usual, but the colors for the 'flashback' story do make for a nice change. :)

I guess if there wasn't something there to stop them, we wouldn't be having this conversation. And when humanity finds a big red button labelled 'For the Love of God, DO NOT PRESS THIS BUTTON', there's only one possible outcome.

Oh yeah! You know someone's going to push the big, red, candy-like button :'D

Let's hope Roy IS on our side.. he's gotta be, right?

Surely it is harder to destroy such a seal than simply walking inside the Pyramid and destroying it. Do the monsters have the same kind of info? Probably yes but... in that case they would have done it already?
Even for a very powerful ritual capable of holding the strongest gods, the seal has to be weakened a lot after centuries of use :/

There's probably some steps involved :) There's a little more about it on the next page which should be up real shortly.

Trust me, I've balanced the whole "rules of magic" and "rules of storytelling" thing to the best of my ability. I think :')

Aw, Imemi, it's all just headlines, man. Don't believe any of that 2012 stuff.

I can tell that you had a good time drawing this page - it shines through!

Hahaha, yeah, it's all come and gone anyway, we're fiiiine! :D

And thank you! Yeah, this page was a joy. The next one was a little tedious because I really hate doing talking heads stuff.

History always repeats, Humanity never seems to learn...

"Like the seal that kept old gods in check, there was, up to 2017, a kind of seal named "net neutrality law" or so that kept new, powerful gods (who's kind were addressed by the abbreviation "ISP") somewhat in check from doing great evil to humanity. Like in old Egypt, there was a group of people who were responsible for the seal. We don't know much about the strength of the seal in old Egypt but we know that the "net neutrality" seal was not very strong, the new gods were rattling at it and mocking it, some even successfully circumvented it, so it was publicly known what danger would arise when this seal would be broken. Yet, the "FCC" group was forced to accept an evil wizard named Ajit Pai as their new boss, and this wizard, who was in reality a servant of the new gods, used a lot of trickery and lies to confuse the people into supporting the breaking of the "net neutrality" seal. Even though he failed, he used more lies to make it look like he succeeded and worse, he already had enough power to destroy the seal, so he did. And as expected, all hell broke loose, the thing named "internet" was twisted into a perverted shadow of itself."

So now you know why I don't write stories. Even the very short ones come out awkwardly terrible.

Oh my god, I didn't have the right mindset to reply when I first read this, but it did bring levity to what was otherwise a pretty crummy day. Thank you, even if the thanks come with a bit of a delay :)

Thank you, I'm glad you got some levity out of it :) The delay doesn't matter :)

Order of the Black Pharaoh: There are 250 large pyramids found in Sudan, only 120 in all of Egypt. In fact, Meroe, the capitol of the Kingdom of Kush, alone has more large pyramids (200) than all of Egypt combined.

I have got to dig into the reference material about the Kingdom of Kush again, because I didn't know about the pyramid statistics. It's a fascinating place of the Ancient Era, and obviously their marketing team wasn't as good as Egypt's.

That's crazy! We love building overbearingly large triangles, apparently, it's in our DNA as the human species :p

A new way to do Eldritch Horror

I have to say, this has to be one of the best eldritch horror comics I've seen in a long time, it not only works well with the C'thulu mythos, but even builds on it and makes it more, I loved the way you portrayed the city of portals and how the beings of the universe work, the bug monk was specially interesting, I read this whole thing in one day and can't wait to read more! also, Agent Cheshire sends his regards :3

Oh man, thank you so much! I'm always happy when someone new checks out the comic, and even moreso when they like it :)

Sorry that you're caught up and waiting for updates now, that's the worst :')

And of course, Chesh sent you. I'll have to give him a noogie or something. Thank you again, Magra, I appreciate it!
