Ah yes, hello page that I made when I figured out I was burning out :D it gets better from here.

I'm really happy that I've overcome my perfectionism with this comic because there's a couple panels here that would have tied me up forever.

It is NOT, this is hilarious :'D

Roy is definitely the "Aliens" guy, for SURE. With more sensible hair though.

Seems the Pyramids were still in a pretty good shape back then :D
Actually... When did the law change again? I guess much later when tourism changed as well. Now we still do not know how they built them. Aliens then. Using the Pyramids as beacons or charge towers for their UFOs :O
Pff! At least like this with the comic I actually have to agree with that :D :D

I just didn't want to go through the trouble of rendering it so painstakingly.. again, I was burning out on this page. Literally right before the break I took :)

It changed some time around the late 1800s early 1900s, I'm not sure exactly when, but definitely before 1925.

And it was TOTALLY aliens, don't worry about invalidating history or culture or taking away the credit of the advancements of a civilization, just give the credit to aliens ;D

One can grow tired of any task, even it it's a labor of love. Sometimes stepping away for a bit allows you to come at it with fresh energy. It is interesting with a new comic to watch it find its visual style. Establishing the parameters of a project can be every bit as much work as the project it self. I wonder if this doesn't contribute to a lot of comics that die on the vine.
On a more cheerful note: Are Imemi's people the original MIB?

I think you'll find on the next page that the break did me well :D I feel like I'm energized a bit from it, though I am not at full mast like I was. Life stuff, you understand.

I still feel like I haven't nailed down a "style" for the comic, though I'm getting there. I hope that I'll have a clear direction to take the art after this story is over :)

I don't know if it was the Men In Black, but maybe they were the IMEM In Black? Eh? Eh? :D

.... I'll see myself out, sorry.

Roy and Clara again in the same scene. Two of my favorite characters. :D

Why am I not surprised he wants her to pursue her mob connection? ;)

I'm glad you like them! Clara and Roy are probably my favorite human characters too, but I like them all. I kinda have to :D

There's so many things Roy could do with a mafia connection on the inside, heheh..

Labors of love can still be laborious. It's good work, though. :) I'd be proud of it.

Also, the mafia can be your friend when there are _worse_ things than the mafia.

Aah, thank you! I really appreciate it :)

That's too true. The mafia can treat you real well, just uh, don't step out of line...

Let's just say that we had reason to believe that a bucket of river water was used to cleanse the vegetables.

Under what bizarre set of circumstances would anyone want to eat salad?
