A couple of fun perspective shots in here, they turned out pretty alright. Look out for the spoooooky hotel clerk! OoooooooooOOOoooo!

Edit:
Oh yeah, I forgot to mention - I started this page after working pretty hard on the way I draw Chase and Clara, and people in general, so they'll look a little different now. I hope it's not too distracting.

Yahoo!! An update! This looks great, especially the shadowy hotel clerk.

The nudges on their look work nicely. I barely noticed. The backgrounds are more than "alright", MNP...

Character tweaks are good. Didn't notice till you mentioned it.
I like that the balloon tail goes behind the clerk. Gives it an extra dash of spooky.

I'm glad you like them - with people like you and Prof on board it's easier for me to gauge that they're good changes.

About the balloon - you think so? Personally I find it a little visually confusing, now, I kinda hate looking at it, haha.

I think it's the best way that could have been handled
I'll admit it was a bit confusing at first. Is someone chiming in from the other room?

But, it would draw down the cool factor on the shadowy figure if it went in front of him. if it went around him it would probably look too... wonky.

That's a literary term.

Nice perspective! Also nice variety in color use with the green shadows.

Thanks - this is actually the first page where I tried using various colors for shadows instead of darker values!
