I really do love writing this kind of character - everyone else tends to be so dour all the time.

I suppose you can't blame them...

All three look great here. I have to say, this page shows just how far you've come with these guys. They all look really distinct and interesting.

Wonder what's behind the door...

I may not know what is behind the door, but I can see what is behind the characters.

Of course I'm hyper critical about how this page came out, but I'm glad that you like it - thank you :)

And Warp, yes, you may be onto something...

I... am kind of surprised Roy is capable of dressing that way lmao :D
All good then. I thought he seemed suspicious but now I can hope he means well. For whoever he is working. Not buying that FBI stuff tbh...

Aw man. I'm bracing myself. I know it probably is something awesome, but considering the source material GOD ONLY KNOWS WHAT'S BEHIND THE DOOR.

I like your use of flat colour on background figures. I'm gonna have to start using that again.

Also, is that a blue indistinct figure on the rooftop in the last panel I see?

I feel like maybe I built it up a bit too much XD I think it's cool, but nothing like, incredible :')

Yeah! I like the trick of just not filling out the characters that are unimportant to the action of the panel. The flat color helps things stand out while giving you the freedom of not going crazy with the colors, also helps what you're supposed to focus on stand out. Iunno. I'm a fan :)

And yes, I believe that is a figure you see up there...

Well "trustworthy"... it could also mean that they didn't trust each other with some secret, or are just not that near to each other that they would tell each other everything...

Roy did warn Chase not to say anything about their meeting, so, apparently he bought into the threat! Clara must have received similar XD

I can't quite place it but there must be a trope for the oddly enthusiastic/jovial character who leads the players into disaster.

Nice artwork in the third and fourth panels, reemphasizing that this is a clandestine meeting.

Shave, and a hair-cut...

Dude, I love Roger Rabbit. Such an amazing film. RIP Mr. Hoskins :(
