Oh... :D

My trip to Los Angeles is over! I'm driving back, starting tomorrow. I should be back and good to go by next wednesday to my 'home base', but I'll have everything ready so I can still upload while on the road on friday :) I might just have to upload... EARLY! Gasp!

Anyway, have a great week everyone!

Uh oh. It looks like we are about to see just how much control Thigg has over Irwin. Or perhaps Irwin never had control, and Thigg only allowed him the illusion of control up until now.

I'd say that's a fair speculation. Thigg might have been doing that thing where you let your little sibling have an unplugged controller while you play video games :D

See, Jaunt, this is what happens when you stop and take the time to pose.

Blue raspberry *sluuuurp* my favourite flavour!

One can only hope that this is part of an elaborate and cunning plan...right Jaunt? ...?

I bet it tastes like atomic sour blueberry, right? :D

But hey, he's demonstrated that he uses blood magic pretty well! So maybe! But one has to wonder how much blood is even left...!

The last panel would imply that Irwin still has some volition or control over the body in that Thigg needs Irwin to get up. Getting Irwin to get up may take some encouragement though. Even if Thigg is managing the bleeding and pain Irwin is probably still going into shock.

Or that it's just handy not to have to concentrate on puppeting the body while he's in direct combat with Jaunt. He could be issuing that order as a free action, rather than taking the time to move the body himself, as a move action. :D :D

Also a possibility. Given the lack of arterial spray, maybe Thigg has Irwin capped off. It will be interesting to see if Thigg has the resources to press the attack or if it and Irwin mount a strategic withdrawal. Will they try to recover Irwin's arm? I wouldn't want Jaunt to get hold of it if I were them. Inquiring minds want to know!

Mmh, yes, I agree with both of these points, yes, but I can't help but notice the Myetel is a NEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEERRRD (Seriously, 3.5!? Or PATHFINDER!? Woah now!) XD

I DM'd pretty much exclusively in 3.0, for a number of years. A few friends coaxed me into weaving some Pathfinder rules into the last thing I ran, but that was short-lived; writing books, promoting my books, they paying job, and kid take up all the time. But yep. Card-carrying D&D type. So's the husband. :D

*nerd voice* EXCUSE ME Thigg, you have to roll for initiative first!!

I really like that side-eye in the second panel, that's great. Thigg is like "what a thot"

YOU'RE A NERD, TOO

NEEERDS

Ah whatever, I cater to nerds. Definitely a case of takes-one-to-know-one.

Ok, Thigg you've won initiative. The Shambler is standing over you, and your animal companion is suffering severe blood loss what do you do?

"Well, my companion is basically a high-functioning zombie now, so he should be fine for a couple rounds. I'm going to extrude a grappling arm, and instead of a move action can I make a ranged Bull-rush attack?"

I'll allow it.

"Ok, I'll do that... Natural 20!!"

Love this. :D Particularly love that Irwin, from Thigg's POV, is a lovable dopey wolf who can be taught, with enough points in Animal Handling, a few basic tricks.

Wow! Thigg demonstrates yet another unique ability. I wonder now just how knowledgeable Jaunt is with whatever Thigg is.

I... should stop underestimating Thigg :/
But it always looks like he or Irwin are in the tight spot. Blob is hella creative and well equipped, honestly :O
It is like he has the best score out of all characters so far...

He's definitely got some preparedness. Remember, he was most ready to fight Jaunt! Hugh was the wild card here, and, well, now that's out of the way.

Trust me, the things you're feeling, this was my design, heheh..

Hmm, is there any body who comments on this comic who hasn't played D&D? I tended to run bards and clerics.
