Being stuck in a small space with three people that clearly don't like you - not a fun way to spend a few hours. I know, let's dump some exposition!

I like that you're embracing the original so much. Really good framing too.

Oh yes, I very much want the opening act to be a twist on the original short story. Thank you very much!

Oh emm eff gee! I'm geek-gasming a little bit. The Innsmouth Look! Yes! Yes! Yes!

*looks around, embarassed*

I'm... I'm fine, really.

Of course I have to talk about the look, even briefly ;)

Very interesting lore here. Why have I not heard of it before? Part of me wants to go look it all up immediately while as the other part wants to let you tell me about it here in your comic. I love your story-telling so far! ^.^

Oh man, part of me wants to tell you to absolutely not use me as an authority on the subject matter, but I would be more than happy to educate - that's definitely part of the objective here. There is no substitute to Lovecraft's work, though, but many things have come close, or done amazing things with the material.

I really dig your storytelling in this so far. :) Your character designs are really interesting!

I know next to nothing about Lovecraft, but this has piqued my interest in it!

What do ya think, MNP? Should we teach? (I've got a bit of Lovecraft in my backstory, too...)

Teach, or preach? Haha - no, please, Lovecraft deserves to have his legacy live on, do the good work with me!

Right, now inserting more Lovecraft. I have an idea for a back-door cameo, by the way. Let me know if you're interested...

Prof, perhaps you may want to reconsider the wording of your "back-door cameo" when dealing with Lovecraftian monsters, what with all their tentacles and such... lol

I love this so far! I really like your drawing style too for both the humans and monsters. Funny, but I toyed with the idea of putting my comic in a Lovecraftian world, but decided that others would be better at doing it well. Looks like I was right!

Hahaha, for real? That's amazing!

It's not like it's not inclusive - public domain, anyone can use it! :)

Yeah, for real. LOL I adore Lovecraft, but my little world really isn't suited for his world. That's okay, maybe my next comic will take a stab...who knows..."Rats in the Walls" anyone? lol

Thank you, I'm super self conscious about them, it's good to hear that people like the designs!

Every time I see the phrase "the Innsmouth Look", my mind immediately assumes it's not "look" as in "appearance" but "look" as in "gaze". So like...
The Innsmouth Stank-Eye.
Honey, those fellas are givin' me the Innsmouth Stank-Eye.

I've actually thought something similar, heh - I didn't go as far as stank eye, though, you silly.
