And here's the set up... things really kick off next week!

Since there's not really much to talk about on this page, I thought I'd let you guys know that I got confirmed as a
vendor for Necronomicon Providence! If you guys wanted to meet me and maybe snag some free art and stuff, chat
comics, whatever, come check it out!

I went last convention in 2015 and it was really awesome, a lot of great art and good vibes, it's pretty amazing being
surrounded by like-minded HPL fans. It is in Providence, Rhode Island and it takes place in August, the weekend of
the 17th-20th. Check out the details here!

So yeah! Anyone that can go, come check it out! :D

This is either going to severely injure Jaunt or send the exit of the teleport to some random location in time/space.

Or Hugh is the first one through, and his new upgrade gets put to the test.

I'm betting on some fireworks when Hugh's protection kicks in.

Damn, he's really being upgraded, isn't he? What kind of armored "Shoggocop" is he going to wind up being by the end?

Is it reserved for upcoming pages or can I ask how the gun works?
I would say it is obviously designed to combat monsters, specifically those who can use portals I guess. Can the gun harm humans? Probably...

Actually the gun isn't shooting here :D

It really looks like it, I know, that was a failure on my part but this is supposed to be a spell/effect from Thigg itself.

It's like a regular gun in terms of the fact that it shoots projectiles, the methods of propellant are different, obviously, but the bigger deal about it is that it has modular ammo.

Basically it can deliver 'bullets' or special projectiles with additional magical effects. Which we'll see soon enough :)

Thanks. That clears up the confusion. I thought he was shooting, haha.
I see! So until then I consider it a type of blaster!
Irwin shot first!

Nifty laser tracer there, love how the spatial distortions are twisting it all about.

He's pretty much an arcano/mytho-tech bio-engine for powering that weapon isnt he? Not to mention other likely hidden upgrades.

Yeah, essentially! Thigg is all about taking matter and then turning it into energy / alternate forms of matter. Uh, in a different way from how humans do it XD

How else do you make a proper smartgun for dealing with aliens? (Apologies, i had to go for that one)

That is clearly an extradimensional weapon. However, if it misses Jaunt, it is going to give him a clue about its originator.

I enjoy few things more than seeing people say things in this vein :D

I hope you're enjoying the read, at least! Heheh

I hadn't noticed the warm-up emanations from Thigg in panel 2 until just now. Nice subtle touch.

Ah, yeah - that was actually kind of my fault, sometimes I draw things too small when I'm working at the original size, and then the details are lost when I shrink it to upload, heheh :)
