Welcome to chapter eight, where no scene is longer than three pages! That's almost accurate, anyway :D

Foraging locally means that you don't have to schlep supplies in and out. I would bet that it is slim pickings sometimes though.

Oh for sure. Fortunately for Jack (and not for us) he's not too picky about what he eats, so we get to see him going after all kinds of delightful things like cat food and garbage :D

For a minute I stopped and wondered why the vintage phone but then it hit me when this is all taking place, haha.
Always wanted to try one, never could.

I am surprised she chose the uni instead of an old dusty library where relevant books might be more common but if occult is really a legit class then it probably has more facts than myths. Hm.

Hah! Yeah, I guess it's not something I convey too often :') I have trouble figuring out how to represent the time period at all times since I didn't live back then and I don't know what things really looked like or anything. The colors were especially hard, but I found a color palette for wallpapers and house paints from the 1920s which has been REAL helpful in that regard :D

You can blame that for the ugly walls in Clara's dorm, here, haha

Also she did use the library at the university, this is just her room there :)

So, Clara's study group is in the periphery. I wonder how much they are aware of what her clandestine
"research" involves.

I love Jaunt freaking scuttling away while firmly and determinedly gripping a plate of disgusting cat food, help
