Hah! I hope you guys didn't think I'd have Jack killin' a cat :D

Also, I'm really sorry I've been so slow to respond to comments lately. I've had a good number of distractions lately, and I'm a little behind on the actual comic work, but I'm trying to get some time and a good frame of mind to pore through them and start talking back to you guys, thank you for your patience :)

Now I'm going to be worried every time I see my cat reacting to mysterious invisible.

That's some really cool gelatinous hiding Jack's doing there!

Hah! Naw, your kitty is safe from Jack :D

I've been getting comments about the gelatinous nature of what's going on, it has me worried because it's not quite what I was going for, so I need to figure out how to fix it, haha :)

It's that translucent green that makes it look gelatinous. But if you just left it out altogether it would look as if he's phasing through the wall. To de-cloak, hmm, you might try using a slightly lighter tone of the cloak color you have already (instead of the green), and take out the "glistens". Or maybe make the "glistens" transparent spots.
Hmmmmm.
Well, it could be a start anyway...

Haha, gaah, that's supposed to be a sort of de-cloaking effect, but I may have to run with this idea. Hmm..

That Guy Over There

Jack laughs at our outdated Euclidean Geometry, and our so-called "solid objects". Where he comes from, ANGLES EAT PEOPLE! (Not joking, in Lovecraft's Call of Cthulhu, a guy literally gets killed because he ends up running afoul of one such angle that did not, in any way, shape, or form, behave as one we would understand. In Lovecraft's work, even architecture could be maddeningly dangerous).

Hah! Yes, I know the reference - he slips on an angle that's "all wrong" because it's simultaneously acute and obtuse.

I have to say, I love reading that stuff, but can you imagine needing to try and draw this kind of stuff? I'm not really looking forward to the attempt XD

Skimming through the comments dyslexia kicked in and I read angles as angels. Except for the specific story referenced it still made sense. Had to laugh.

Wait. Is that an ability Jack normally has or did Jaunt teach him that when he healed him? I do not remember but this is cool because he can just pass through walls no problem. Or maybe not pass but hide inside a wall. Still good!

Just a random citizen guy, right? I like him...

Haha! Next page will have a little more information that you seek in terms of this ability ;)

I'm glad you like him! Say goodbye, though, because he's trapped on this page XD We'll call him "Page 251 guy"

Totally trope-unaware human. You should always pay attention to the warnings of cats and dogs. Not to mention birds. Fish, you can safely ignore.

Ah, but this is the pre-trope age of 1925! There's no way he'd know, right? :D

... who started that trope? I guess that was in gothic horror, wasn't it? Maybe it was a trope already D:
