Hm. There WAS that weird bat like dude watching them...
I cannot see humans stalking monsters though. Many do not even know unless... it is Irwin.
Not that I am surprised if not. Jaunt did fail.

Also, maybe my eyes but I think the shading got better? Someone else should confirm/deny :D
Seems like it (last couple of pages).

That was just a bat :'D I didn't mean to be too confusing there. I just really wanted Roscoe to show up again, haha!

Thank you, though - I think it's just that there's a lot of backlighting on these pages so the shading is more noticeable - I really appreciate it :)

A stalker? There is a simple human spell that might help, Jaunt. It's called "restraining order".

Also, when Jack operates alone, there will be nobody there to save him if he screws up again...

Something tells me that a restraining order won't do much against Jaunt :'D

And yeah, it's true, but if Jack volunteers he takes that responsibility onto himself, heheh.

The fact that Jaunt is worried enough about this stalker that he's unwilling to leave Innsmouth until the issue is resolved implies that whoever, or whatever, it is, it's powerful enough to be a threat to him and his operation. Given that Jaunt is pretty powerful, and has a considerable amount of resources at his disposal, what he considers a threat could be terrifying indeed.

I'm not sure he even knows who/what's after him. Jaunt is powerful, but he knows he has limits, and he Doesn't know which of those limits will be tested in the near future. It's the kind of thing he might be more worried about now, after being surprised and useless against a couple "puny humans".

When writing this part I was more considering Jaunt as being cautious - he suffered a loss, recently, so he's not feeling as infallible as he did previously. Since he can't identify what it is that's been following him around and robbing the bodies of his defeated foes, he's playing it safe :)

I'm sure he would appreciate hearing that!

Maybe... I don't know, he might just stare at you. He would probably just stare :I
