But it's the wheel. It's the best hand. I wouldn't be so hesitant, let's win this one.

Man, I've just caught up and this chapter is kicking ass. I don't know what's the best part of it; the trinket, the origin stories of some of the characters, the mafia, the art; it's all amazing.

Poor Hugh :')

Thanks, man! I felt like this is when things really start shifting into some forward momentum. Next chapter should be a strong continuation - it may even lean forward a bit!

I need to catch up on NR, I'll try and get some time for that soon. Thanks again :D

I have a feeling this will end up with Hugh learning a lesson.
If you play with strangers, you play for money.
If you play with friends, you might play for money but probably it is more about settling certain differences in a way. I do not play cards but that is what a good friend of mine taught me :D

The whole idea behind this game is teaching Hugh something :)

What lesson Barry has in store, well, we'll have to see...

I don't play cards much myself but I've always been interested. Don't know the right people I guess.

Gotta work on that poker face, Hugh! You can be read like a book (or a web comic)...

NOOOOO Hugh your poker face is SO bad X"D

Hmmm I think I see how this could be used as a useful training tool-- I seem to recall how he was read like an open book in the fight way back while the humans got away!

Barry has a poker face. Hugh, not so much.

That's a great job of drawing emotive fish faces.

Excellently done. I always love the symbolism of card games, ever since I was convinced that the little matter at the OK Corral was actually decided at the card game the night before (also something about the symbolism of the principle players in the matter).

I actually haven't seen that one. If I get around to working on my western again that's one of the things I should get to, for sure..

That's what I hear - I'm mostly familiar with a select through, the Fistful of Dollars trilogy, Once Upon a Time in the West, etc.
