Aw dang, the game is on! Speaking of games, there's another one going on...

And another one and hopefully you named something ;)

I think this is the most classic approach but then probably the best way. Get the files and clean all dirt.
If I were the Don then I would not buy it just yet. He probably does not anyway.
Kinda... too convenient.

I have named a thing! A few things, but not too many. I found a planet baked with radiation and called it Hans Geiger - there was a squid like species there that hopped around and I called them "Bounce Squids" :')

Yeah, it's a little basic but it works - doubtful the Don is just going to leave it at that, he's probably got some ideas of his own.

*examines this page*
*goes back to Jaunt in the shop*

Hmm... The meta-plot thickens.
Just how many levels of metaphor are you playing with MP?

Not too many, I promise :) There are layers but really I'm just kinda trying stuff out and figuring it out as I go.

He wouldn't be a strong Don if it were that easy. The Don has to be wary that this could be some kind of trick by law enforcement to shut him down.

I'm sure the Don recognizes that this is a great opportunity, but could also be a great risk (a trap by LE), and proceed with both in mind.

Yes, ah, it would take an awful lot to happen for either of these parties to REALLY trust each other, heheh...

I am trying to think what advantage the Don would get by helping clear Jaunt and his allies from Innsmouth. Does he think that will give him access to a new base of operations for smuggling activities? He probably doesn't know about the Deep Ones. Does Chase even know about them?

Chase is more familiar with Deep Ones than he'd like to be! He almost got torn to pieces by Marco before he put a good amount of slugs in him.

As far as the Don goes, I doubt Chase even came close to mentioning Jaunt or any supernatural/mutated creatures, for reasons, heh. This is more of a "help us understand why we'd rescue you but not kill you" sort of deal.

Though this be madness

Like any good comic writer, nothing is done by mistake. I see yet another player card in full view. Indeed, another game is being played. Go fish.

I need to be a lot more subtle about these things in the future, heh. It's fun to play around with these ideas, though!
