Woah, Barry! Dressing like a fancy lad~

I'm gonna be at O! Comic Con this weekend (In the Omaha/Council Bluffs area) from Friday to Sunday - I'm not sure how this will affect comic production, worst case scenario is that I lose a week on my buffer.

What it does mean though is that if you happen to be in the area you can come and see me! Also that I'll probably be slow to reply to comments on friday :)

Also! This is the first page I've uploaded since I turned my Patreon back on. I'm together enough now that I can start making good on the plans to stream twice a month and chat with you guys.

Please check it out here if you have a spare dollar or so a month you'd like to shoot at me to make me work faster :D

Would you believe stuff like that was more common back in those days? Looking at modern fashion, I like it a lot, but I feel like some things were lost along the way :')

I'll definitely take some pics, though, maybe make a little album thing for people!

Barry's personality being reflected in his clothing style. Nice!

I have been watching Houdini and Doyle, the occult mystery series on the Fox network. They made effective use of the wardrobe choices made by the two main characters. Arthur Conan Doyle dressed conservatively, as befitted a doctor turned author. While Harry Houdini was more flamboyant in his clothing, perhaps since so much of his time was spent on stage or in the public eye. Many of his suits would have not looked out of place on London's Carnaby Street in the 1960s.

Ha, that's awesome - I didn't know that was a show! I might have to look into that - as you know there were some close connections between Houdini and Lovecraft...

This may not be the most common of clothing choices for Barry, but it seems to fit him pretty well, heheh.

Oh no XD The good news is I can promise that there's two new comics every week!

I really appreciate it though, I'm glad you're liking it so far, and I definitely appreciate the well wishes :) Have a good weekend!

I am very impressed by the clever way you manage to make each of your characters a unique individual. So many comic authors make all their characters look the same, even the human ones. You have a versatile imagination.

Aw geez, thanks Ed :'D

I try, it's one of the things I worry about a lot, though. I fall for a lot of the pitfalls of the critical artist where I don't view it in as high of regard as other people do. Thank you for a dose of perspective :)
