From Fishmen to Mafia I feel this is a little bit like from the fire into the frying pan!

Haha, I think that's pretty apt - instead of moving away from the pan they're getting closer to the center, hah!

Welp. That one abandoned building you find is a smugglers den :D
Still better than a creepy fish hotel...

You draw really cool looking male characters :>

Figures, doesn't it? Bad luck on bad luck, but maybe Chase has some kinda idea of what to do...

And thank you, I fear I need to bring my female characters up to par :') I'm simultaneously hesitant to include so many to try and keep it true to HPL form, but I also want to make it mine, and that could just be one of the ways I do it, heh.

Granted, I would need to go through this whole comic again but it feels like Chase is becoming more radical and purpose driven then he used to. Like he is abandoning some kind of safeguards in himself. While Jaunt is slowly reversing that. Or I am thinking too much :D

Hah! Just make characters as required and not tokens. Admittedly, I am a sucker for that but it depends on the comic whether it works or not.
Not inherently bad in my opinion.

Also, I missed it but that smoke puff :O

When someone is at an advanced and experienced level and they make a mistake, they tend to dial back the complexity to observe where the mistake was made - the more basic the method the easier it is for them to break down.

Meanwhile, when you encounter something that's at the next level, you have to dig deep to find a way to match up, or you'll get destroyed :D

I wasn't actually doing that on purpose in the writing, but you made me realize that that's the direction things have gone, for sure. You're awesome, haha.

I won't be adding token characters, no - I'll be purposeful as I can :)

And thanks! Ask Taily, I was baffled by it for a bit :')

How embarrassing is it going to be for Mr Jaunt if, after he failed to deal with the two interlopers, they end up getting iced by a pair of human goons.

I thought I was as in love with TU as I could be. Thank you for showing me how wrong I was! :)

I read Ricky's voice as a punch-drunk Sylvester Stallone. It seemed authentic for some reason.

Great lighting, by the way.

Pffhaha, okay, I can see that XD

And thank you, a huge lack of backgrounds towards the end of Ch.4 drove me to try and make SO MANY in this chapter. Need to find a way to do that without overburdening myself, though...

Man, I owe you an apology. I finally sat down today and read this all the way through, and I'm floored.

Great art, badass characters and story (Lovecraft fan here, too), and great art again. I only regret I didn't read it through earlier.

Oh man, you don't have anything to worry about. I know what it's like when you have plans to read something but it's so damn long and there's only so much time in the day and maybe I'll do it tomorrow and oops I didn't make time for it maybe I'll do it next week - I get it XD

I have so many things I need to read but I haven't. Either way, though, I'm really glad you like it so far; it makes me happy when people I admire like my stuff :)
