Hey guys! Good news is I'm starting to get a little more on track, so, you might see a dip in quality for a little bit but I'm hoping to get good and strong again soon.

I really appreciate everyone on CF involved with the TWC vote, I sent mine out today already, and anyone else who is not involved I would ask that you toss me a vote to help me out - I'm in the top 100! The higher I climb the more readers you have to BS with in the comments section!

Yes.
It seems like a nice sociable eyeball with big plans in a big world.
Something tells me this guy is going to be unforeseen setback :D

I had a lot of fun writing this character, heh - I figure it might end up being an underdog favorite, or even a break out favorite.

We'll see where this little curve ball goes, heheh!

Commendable eyeball, he is so good at recycling the unused bio matter.

This page is super neat! Never thought I'd be thinking well of an eyeball mass before.

SUPER neat!

Writing this character is a breath of fresh air, I don't have to try and think about the word structure as much as I do people who are period 1925, heh.

I'm changing my vote. At first, I proposed that the creature was Nyarlathotep, but after reading this page, I now believe that it is a lowly Shoggoth...

Pfff, I won't say who or what it is, but a Shoggoth? They can't think like this thing does! Sure they're telepathic to an extent, but this thing is way too smart.

Yes, shoggoths aren't known for their elocution in any language. I half suspect that "tekeli-li" is an Elder Thing cussword.

There's actually a theory that it's a command that the Elder Things issue to Shoggoths and they're just mimicking. Just like birds when you say "pretty bird" or "hi", etc.

Oh pickles, is that firm canon? I still have a lot of Lovecraft to catch up on, but I was hoping to use smart shoggoths as a major plot point. :(

Shoggothic Hostage: I ain't suck at wordsing, I can say 'Scrub the latrine' in 96 human languages! 'S more'n you can shove me 'bout with, ye high 'n mighty crunchling!

Ahh, I mean it is but you know a talking Dimensional Shambler and Byakhee sure as heck aren't! Do whatever you like with the mythos, man! :D

If you want a good read that involves Shoggoths and some of their history, you should read through At The Mountains of Madness - it's a bit of a bear, especially with the technical details that litter the first third of the story, but it's one of my favorites :)

Aw, what a nice eldritch horror! :P

And a "dip in quality" from you is still better than the vast majority of the field, so do what you have to, man!

So considerate, right?

And pff, thanks, but I don't want to be off the top of my game anymore.

He sounds like a Human-fan! I wonder if Eldritch horrors have yearly Human-conventions, and cosplay as humans.

And wow, look at that gaping hole in his chest and the ribs sticking out. Jaunt doesn't mess around.

This talking eyeball is strangely... cute?

Just look at the way he's gently poking Irwen's face, awww.
