Welp. This seems to be even more interestin' than I thought. But also: 'Registered Shambler'? Really? Somethin' is up. Also I love that awesome lookin' robot. Is it from the mythos or somethin' of your own creation again?

But I have to agree with ProfEtheric's commment. Somehow knowin' Juant's an officially, 'registered shambler' just does fill me too, with unknowable dread...

I think it just speaks volumes about the lore MP is experimenting with.

On the one hand registration implies there are some beings with Jaunt-like powers that are unregistered. Rogue shamblers and other alien creatures that use their supernatural powers for mischief or personal gain. This implies that while we might not know much about the various lovecraft races, they are not all in the service of beings like Nyarlathotep. It tells me that while these extra-terrestrial beings may think very differently and have no grasp of humanity, we might all be able to get together and understand one another in the capacity for greed.
This begs the question of what kind of punishment is given for being unregistered. Is it just a death sentence if they're caught? Or have they found a way to imprison rogue beings with incredible powers?

On the other hand, registration implies governance. A storehouse of registration files and a being/beings capable of organizing and maintaining up-to-date records. It's likely such a thing would be very costly, so how are these "government" officials paid? But registration is just the middle man in all this. It implies both higher government officials that deem registration necessary, and lower government officials that enforce the registration. It tells me that while these extra-terrestrial beings may think very differently and have no grasp of humanity, we might all be able to get together and understand one another in the desire for structure.

I love these kind of stories.

Yeah, he's donning the uh... well, not the latest, but human fashions, nonetheless!

And yeah, I was excited to get to this point since I get to draw things a little differently, heh.

Look at Jaunt's big ole smile.

On my driver's license photo I usually look tired or annoyed, because I spend hours standing in line to get a new license.

Dude is registered, he is legitimate!

Hee, he's a dork.

Yeah, I legitimately looked like I wanted to smack the camera on my Texas license, heh. Looks like Jaunt has a lot to smile about, though.

Okayyyy. The Innsmouth operation is clearly not Jaunt's first rodeo. This does not bode well for Chase and Clara should they seek a rematch.
