Uploading from the past again - I'm sorry I haven't been replying to comments recently, there's a REASON for that!

I decided on the weekend to go to Necronomicon Providence because I'm leaving my job, which gave me about a week to prepare for advertising and stuff since I wanna spread the word about my comic.

Fortunately I'm just about done, all that I have left is not time sensitive. Anyway, I hope you enjoy this update, I'll be replying to everyone from last upload and today's when I get home, promise!

I love when authors do the slow motion shots for one reason.
The outcome was already decided a few seconds earlier (realistically speaking) and you just watch how it went with added suspense :D
This is where fiction has the edge.

a cliffhanger within a cliffhanger.

seriously great work here man, the perspective is spot on and that is not easy to do.

That's the thing about these long form comics in webcomic update schedules, we get infinite cliffhangers which, I fear, is too trying if it goes on for too long, haha!

I'm glad you like it :'D These pages were particularly tough, I remember.

Oh, whoa!

Talk about ramping up the intensity!

Edit: if that bullet hits Clara, I'm unsubscribing. :P

If this hits the gas tank... D:

THIS PAGE IS SO GOOD. I love the colors in the last one, and the action is powerful. I can feel the camera whipping around aaahhhhh

Haha, I need to do that a little better next time, I just wanted to add some interest to the drawing.

That last panel looks amazing. The entire page looks amazing. Got a great feel of motion and speed to it. :D

Also I kinda like them, but I do not see this ending well for them, haha.

Thanks! The last panel was my attempt at making a high-tension bullet-time kinda effect.

And while we know the outcome now, I'm glad to evoke that guess :D

I consider my self a sort of a gun nut, (even though I don't own any guns) so that gun in the first panel looks more like shotgun rather than a rifle. And the stock of the gun disappeared somewhere in panel four.

Yeah, I was off with a lot of things on this weapon but I think it serves it's purpose as a plot device.

I realized I'd forgotten the stock on that page but realized it beyond the point of fixing it, so I let it be. Better finished than perfect, I think, but it doesn't stop me from trying! :)

The rifle in looks like a carbine version of the Mannlicher-Schoenauer, sold as the finest rifle in the world, until it became to expensive to produce.

I took like the shift in coloring in the last panel. It makes it seem like they are feeling hopeful of a successful escape from the town. Will those hopes be dashed by the bullet. And is the bullet aimed at them or the motorcycle. Stay tuned for the next thrilling comic.

Oh wow, you're right! I wasn't even modeling this after anything, I just kinda drew "rifle.jpg", haha.

That's really cool, I like to know things like this, I like it when you guys bring it to my attention :)

I hope you liked today's update, though, I'm glad I had you on edge, too!
