It may have been a nightmare, but it looks like a dream. AKA awesome.

*Crosses fingers* Come on, come on...

I am seriously rooting for the deep one here. Humans have had it too easy for too long.

Yeah, they've been catching a lot of breaks, haven't they? Come on, let the shadows have a win...

I get like... Death, Glory, and then the two obvious ones at the end. I have to admit I'm like really super bad at r'lyehian XD

I've never been much a linguist.

Hahahahahaha in that case you understand way more than I do! It's just some random gibberish cultists in an old Lovecraft game say, I couldn't resist quoting it! It was so bad it was good.

Oh, good. He's never shot anything moving that quickly...

Still, bad things can happen...

Probably means he's less likely to score an immediately lethal hit and more likely a wounding hit. These guys aren't part of their A-Team because they're bad at their job.

Oh, it's not that they're BAD, but I'll cover that later :D

I have to say it's awesome as an author to see people speculating like this.. I've gone beyond just the "I like this" comments (Which I also love!) and I'm starting to see a bit of investment in the story from you guys and it's making me all mushy. Thank you for your support!

well I haven't been here for a while!

That last frame though, is he literally going "Dagon, take the wheel!"?

Probably something like "Dagon guide my hand." or a prayer like that. He's literally Jaunt's last chance at stopping or hindering them, and he knows it.

You guys got it spot on - he's saying something along the lines of "Dagon possess my body".

Shoulda wore helmets, humans!

If he manages to land a hit on either Chase, or the cycle itself, and they wipe out at the speed they seem to be going at, both of them are going to be wishing they had helmets on.

Helmets were invented long before cycles, but I'm not sure how long it took before people realized they worked together.
More than leather caps, anyway, which don't do much except keep your hair in place...

Oh, no, I meant it's around midnight or later at this point, haha!

But yeah, our 'safety headwear' in the roaring 20s was pretty laughable at best, heheheh.
